Mahomet - Michael J. Peterka, 48, of Mahomet passed away with his wife and friends by his side at 6:32 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. At this time, Michael's family will be scheduling services for a later date. Cremation rites are being peacefully accorded by Sunset Funeral Home, Champaign-Urbana Chapel, A Life Celebration Home.
