Michael J. Noel Jr

Michael J. Noel Jr., 29, of Danville formerly of Westville, died at 10:33pm, Saturday, June 19, 2010, in Danville. He was born on June 8, 1981, the son of Michael J Noel Sr. and Robin (Ross) Noel. He was wed to Amanda Denton on August 16, 2003, in Danville. She will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by: his parents, Michael & Robin Noel of Westville; his children, Dequan M. Noel, Quintavious J. Noel, Camisha D. Noel, & Tatyanna O. Noel, all of Danville; his sisters, Renae Noel, Shandra (Michael) Hosae, & Stacey (Bobby) Winters, all of Westville; his special aunt, Debbie Noel of Danville; his mother-in-law, Vickie (Mike) Zaayer of Tilton; and his father-in-law, Vernie (Dee) Denton of Catlin. Michael was starting his fourth year apprenticeship with I.B.E.W. He was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corp honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. He routinely helped and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, and Walk for Life Relay. He was a member of the Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club and the O.W.L. Society. He enjoyed high school football & basketball, as well as, fishing, hunting, golfing, & camping. Michael was a people-person, but most of all he loved his wife and family. A celebration of Michaels life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. Pastor Joel Ferren will officiate. Visitation will be 4pm-8pm, Friday, June 25, 2010, at the funeral home. The family would like everyone to dress casually for the service & visitation in honor of Michael. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be given in Michaels name to Landmark Credit Union to help with the family with expenses.
