Michael J Bratton

Michael J. Bratton, 58, of Danville went to be with his lord and beloved grandma on Saturday February 24, 2018 with his mother holding his hand. Michael was born on December 6th, 1959 to Carol (Bragg) Holaves. Michael leaves behind his mother Carol. Michael was a member of St. James Methodist Church in Danville. He loved going out to eat, traveling, coloring, strawberry milkshakes watching TV and listening to music. Michael never met a stranger, loved everyone and all animals. He will be missed by all his friends and family especially his big hugs and smile. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents Marjorie Kavanagh and uncle Tom Kavanagh and step-dad Gus Holaves. Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at 2 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion St Danville. Officiating will be Reverend Randall Robison. Burial to follow at Woodlawn cemetery in Indianola. Memorials may be made in Michael's name to C.A.R.A. animal shelter and the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
