Danville - Michael David Corzine, 50, passed away in Danville on September 26, 2014. Michael was born the son of Lowell and Helen (Golden) Corzine on April 17, 1964 in Danville, Illinois. Michael is survived by his two daughters Kayla and Lynzie Corzine both of Danville; his former wife Teresa Cadle of Danville; his mother Helen Corzine of Fithian, IL; his sister Sandy (Daniel) Jeffers of Fithian; and his niece April Jeffers of Fithian. Michael was preceded in death by his father Lowell O. Corzine. Michael was a lifelong member of the First Church of The Nazarene in Danville. Michael was a proud graduate of Oakwood High School, class of 1982. He was an athletic young man, spending his days on the Oakwood High Basketball team. Michael always made time to support his daughters Kayla and Lynzie during their variety of sporting events throughout high school. His love for sports only continued to grow as he became a big fan of the Fighting Illini football team, the Chicago Bears, and Nascar. He was a valued parts manager at Courtesy Motors in Danville. Michael also liked watching Man vs. Food and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Burial will follow at Stearns Cemetery following the funeral service.
