Cayuga, Ind. - Michael D. Haworth, 73, of Cayuga, passed away at 8:32 p.m. EDT Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana.

Michael was born on February 21, 1948 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the son of the late Charles and Charlotte Maude (Buschel) Haworth, Jr.

He married Diana Lynn Runyan on November 25, 1967 in Danville, Illinois. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2013.

Survivors include his children: Tina Haworth and Shawn (Leticia) Haworth both of Cayuga, Indiana; five grandchildren: Lauren; Malayna; Brayden; Aleah and Maycie; one great-granddaughter: Zaylynn, and one brother: Terry Haworth of Springfield, Illinois.

Michael was preceded in death by his son: Troy Haworth; infant twin sister: Linda; sister: LaDonna Carr, and brother Allen Haworth.

Michael retired from PEPISCO (Formerly Quaker) in Danville, Illinois in 2012 after 40 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Covington High School. Michael was currently serving on the Cayuga Town Board and was a member of the Cayuga Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with his dogs.

Funeral service: 2 p.m. EDT Monday, July 19, 2021 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Ashton Stewart; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. EDT Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the funeral home with I.V.F.A. memorial services being held at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
