Merle Michaelson-Carr

Merle Michelson-Carr 68, of Danville, passed away at 7:58 PM February 19, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Merle was born January 30, 1947 in Clinton, In, the daughter of the late Paul and Melba (Young) Carr. She will be missed by her boyfriend, John Barney of Danville; her brother, Glenn "Bob" Carr of Abilene, TX; sister; Dora Carr of Kingman, IN. Merle had attended Covington, IN High School, Eastern Illinois University, Sangamon State and DACC. Merle was currently working at Lincoln Lanes in Danville where she was known by many. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and loved to feed and watch her humming birds. A visitation to celebrate the life of Merle will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville from 6-8 PM.
