Melissa Sue Salrin

Melissa Salrin, 49, of Oakwood passed away on Wednesday August 22, 2018. Melissa was born on January 29, 1969 the daughter of Richard and D. Susan Salrin. Surviving Melissa are her father Richard and uncle, John Thompson. She is preceded in death by her mother. After graduating high school Melissa earned a degree in accounting from Eastern Illinois. She was a very tech savvy woman and, in her spare, enjoyed playing Bingo and going to see Lou Christie with her mother before her passing. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10am on Monday August 27, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 26, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
