Melissa Renee Eldridge

Melissa Renee Eldridge, 53, of Danville passed away on Tuesday August 4, 2020. She was born in Danville on January 6, 1967 the daughter of David and Peggy.

Melissa is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Matthew Eldridge; son, Carter Eldridge; daughter, Lindsey (Josh Richards) Eldridge; granddaughter Harper L Richards; father. David (Darlene) King; mother, Peggy (Howard) Carrell; brother, Brad King (Julie King); nephews, Dylan King, Tomas Cooper and niece, Sage Hoisington.

She is preceded in death by her aunt, Lynn Childs; grandmother, Hilda Wangler and grandfather, William Wangler.

Melissa was a kind and caring person who loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Harper. She was loud and honest, she always put her family first. She loved Matt Carter Lindsey and Harper more than words could ever express. She had to most contagious laugh and beautiful smile. Missy gave the best hugs and kisses. She gave great advice whether you wanted it or not. She was quick witted and hilarious.

Visitation will take place from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834.
