Mrs. Maxine O. (Goble) Tindall, 82, of Danville, passed away at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Carle Arbours Nursing Home in Urbana, after a battle with breast and bone cancer. Maxine lived in Danville for more than 65 years after moving here from Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania. She was born in Lottsville, Pennsylvania on September 7, 1924, the only child of Charlie and Ormal (Borton) Goble. Maxine married Edward J. De Ray in 1942 in Danville. He preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Tom Tindall in Danville and he later preceded her in death. She is also survived by her three children- Edward (Mary) DeRay Jr., Charlene (Bob) Marble, and Bonita (Dan) Coon all of Danville; five grandchildren- John DeRay of Danville, Amy (Tim) Steinbaugh of Bismarck, Joshua Marble of Indianapolis, Indiana, Blain (LeAnda) Coon of Danville, and Derek (Jenny) Coon of Bismarck; one grandson-in-law- Brian McDaniel of Danville; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and one granddaughter- Jennifer Marble McDaniel. Maxine worked for many years at the VA Medical Center as a nurses assistant. She attended First Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading and doing crossword puzzles. A Celebration of the Life of Maxine O. (Goble) Tindall will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 " 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Allhands Cemetery in Kickapoo State Park. Memorials may be made to the Susan B.
