Maxine Jones

Maxine Jones, 81, of Danville, passed away at 10:32am, Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on September 3, 1939, in Danville, IL the daughter of Earl and Bernice {Turner} Huddleson. She was united in marriage to Earl Wayne Jones by Earls father, Kenneth Jones, and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in October 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Jana Weist of Danville and her sister, Lana (Edward) Lagacy of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her parents and her special cousin, Cliff Huddleson. Maxine was a member Lone Oak Church of Christ and loved traveling. She was a very caring person and helped all who needed it and was always known to help out anyway she could. A private family service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846.
