Perrysville, Ind. - Maxine Beulah Derringer Crisp, 91, of Perrysville, passed away at 1:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. She was born July 12, 1921 in Danville(Bunsonville)Illinois, the daughter of the late William and Nell Frazee Derringer. She married Louis Daniel Crisp on May 5, 1940 in Henderson, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Mary(Paul)Rockhold of Belen, New Mexico and Cathy(Ted)Osborne of Rosedale, Indiana; one son, Daniel(Charla)Crisp of Covington, Indiana; seven grandchilden and tweleve great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her infant granddaughter, Dani Sue Crisp; two sisters and four brothers. Maxine and Louis owned and operated the Crisp Plumbing and Heating store for many years in Perrysville, Indiana. After retirement Maxine was a homemaker. She was a member of the Perrysville United Methodist Church and the Perrysville American Legion Auxiliary. She was a 1939 graduate of Covington High School. Maxine recently resided at The Waters of Covington, where she enjoyed the company of everyone and was recognized for her singing while strolling the halls and visiting neighbors.
