Max Edward Pollitt 69 of Danville, Illinois passed away on Sunday January 29th, 2023 at approximately 2:43pm, surrounded by loved ones at home. He was preceded in death by many Harlan Leo Pollitt (Father) - Helen Maxine Kiger Pollitt (Mother) - Harold Pollitt, Robert (Bobby) Pollitt, Chester Pollitt, Jack Pollitt, (Brothers) - Daryl Tiffin (Brother-in-law) - Thomas Bloomfield (Nephew)- Kayla Rager (Juvinall) (Great Niece). He leaves behind Richard Pollitt (Brother) - Mary Price (Pollitt), Husband (Pastor) Phillip Price, Helen Tiffin (Pollitt) (Sisters) - Betty Pollitt (Sister-in-law) - Teresa Bloomfield (Price), Donna Laker (Tiffin)- Husband Mike Laker (Nieces) - Mike Price - Wife Aundrea Allison, Jason Tiffin - Wife Jamie Tiffin (Nephews) - Brandon Price, Brody Price, Jacob Tiffin, Lucas Juvinall, Mason Price, Jeremiah Calton (Great Nephews) - Harlan Price, CJ Fletcher, Saulis Fletcher, Jace Hopkins, and Carter Price (Great Great Nephews)- Stephanie Juvinall, Cierra Allison, Jordan Tosser, Katelynn Juvinall, Miya Juvinall (Great Nieces) - Tomilynn Price, Essence Price, and Kairi Rager (Great Great Nieces). Max was very full of joy and love for everyone. He enjoyed fishing, puzzles, putting together model objects, the outdoors, drinking coffee, and overall spending time with family. Max owned a garbage pickup business called H-Pollitt trucking, and he was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Danville, Illinois. Last membership at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Paris, Illinois. Visitation will be held at 9am with services starting at 10am on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home in Oakwood, Illinois. Pastor Jack Hoffman as officiant.
