Max E. Heidrick

Max E. Heidrick of Danville, IL passed away December 21, 2015 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. He was born on February 9, 1942 to Arthur and Perrie Ann (Compton) Heidrick. Max and Alice Kathleen Arnold married in Petersburg, IL on July 20, 1969, she preceded him in death in 2005. Max served in the US Navy. He earned his Bachelor's degree in history at Illinois State University and was employed by the United States Postal Service in Danville, IL retiring in 2002. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, collecting stamps, playing cards and gardening with his best friend and neighbor, David Brown. Max is survived by his children; Michael (Angela) Heidrick of Bloomington, Kathleen J. Smith of Bement, IL; Debra (John) Richards of Danville, IL; brother, Harold (Carol) Heidrick of Bismarck, IL; sister, Linda Lawhorn of Danville, IL; grandchildren Megan and Lillian Heidrick; Taylor (Kayla), Elaina and Audrey Smith; Paige, John and Samantha Richards. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse and brother, Raymond Heidrick. Per Max's wishes there will be no services but a memorial service at a later date.
