Maudie Ellen Lynn

Maudie Ellen Lynn, 84, of Danville, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2005 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Tilton. She was born on July 18, 1920 in Thompkinsville, Kentucky, the daughter of James William and Bertie Bell (Bowles) Birge. She married Logan Elzie Lynn on June 6, 1938 in Thompkinsville, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1990. She is survived by her 3 Sons- Robert(Marilyn) Lynn of Oakwood, Illinois, William "Mack" Lynn of Danville, and Garry (Linda) Lynn of Tilton, Illinois; 5 Grandchildren- Lisa Beith, Pam Gorman, Steve Lynn, William "Tracy" Lynn and Tammi Grant; and 5 Great-Grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 8 Brothers- Acie Levi Birge, Jesse Birge, Herbert Birge, Claude Birge, Paul Birge, Ancle Birge, Billie Birge and Odell Birge; and 4 Sisters- Iva Birge, Vada Birge, Clonic Birge, and Onie Birge . Maudie worked at Windbreaker and Time-O-Matic in Danville. She enjoyed quilting and rummage sales. She was a past member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
