Mattie Lee Williams

Urbana Mattie Lee Williams, 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana, IL. She was born on May 19, 1938 in Edwards, MS to Isiah and Mary Lee (Moffitt) Fuller.

Mattie is survived by her children Benny Williams Jr., Sherry Williams, and LaWanda "Katie" Williams; grandchildren Dane, Megan, Sairell, Shayla, and Jakaeya; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Brownie.

Mattie enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family would like to thank the staff at Champaign County Nursing Home for 6 years of service. A special thanks to Robin and Howard for their support.

A private celebration of life will be held in Matties honor at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St., Champaign, IL 61820.
