Mathew Farrell Wheeler

Mathew Farrell Wheeler, 29, of Champaign, IL passed away April 3, 2014 in rural Vermilion County. He was born February 26, 1985 in Danville, the son of Buddy Wheeler and Kelly Hendren. Mathew is survived by Buddy (Betty) Wheeler of Danville and Kelly (Scott) Hendren of St. Joseph. Also surviving are aunt, Jackie Wheeler of Champaign; sisters, Melanie Hendren of Urbana, Ashley (John) Viner of Roberts; brother, Andrew Hendren of Champaign; nephews, Seth and Gavin Viner; niece, Everly Viner; grandparents, Chuck and Sharon Jones of Oakwood, Kenneth and Marilyn Cox of Danville, Ron and Olga Fogleman of Danville and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Judy Fogelman; grandparents, Melvin and Florence Hill; grandfather, Vernie Tanner and grandparents Ralph and Thedelma Cox; . Mathew was very compassionate; if he loved you, he would give you the shirt off his back. His family meant the world to him, and he missed his grandmother deeply. Mathew was artistically talented and loved to draw. Visitation to celebrate the life of Mathew will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A life Celebration Home in Danville, Tuesday April 8, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm with a service immediately following. Minister Chuck Carlson will officiate. Memorial donations in Mathew's name may be made to Champaign Humane Society.
