Marysue Spisok

MarySue Spisok, 74, of Danville passed away at 3:07 PM at Arcadia Care in Danville, IL on November 2, 2020.

MarySue was born on March 28, 1946 the daughter of John "Jim" and Susie (Todd) Spisok in Danville, IL.

Survivors include her two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Romine of Westville, IL and Fran Winters of Danville, IL, one niece, DeAnne Tuggle of Westville and one nephew, Scott (Jamie) Winters of Danville, IL.

MarySue is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Norval Lang and one great niece, Nicki Reed.

MarySue was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her free time, hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. She was an avid softball player in her younger days and was an avid Bears, Cubs and Illini Fan. MarySue enjoyed collecting Tweety Bird items, mice and marbles. MarySue lived in Alabama for several years and worked as Nursery Staff at an outdoor greenhouse facility. After leaving Alabama, MarySue returned to Illinois where she operated a forklift at Con-Air in Rossville, IL until her retirement.

There will be a Private Family Celebration of Life for MarySue on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Pastor Dan Kitinoja will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Private Family Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or service wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
