On December 26, 2015, at 11:34pm, Heaven gained an angel in Maryhelen Bildilli, 84, surrounded by family at home in Georgetown. She was born on April 4, 1931, in Sidell, IL, the daughter of Roscoe L. and Margie M. {Gilroy} Murray, deceased. She began her life with Charles A. Bildilli III on November 5, 1950 in Georgetown and enjoyed many years until his passing on October 9, 1985. She leaves behind: her daughters, Marla (Blake) Hawkins, Barbara (Michael) Daulton, & Lonna Iles, her grandchildren, Blake (Deana) Hawkins, Carlee (Brett) Hawkins, Emileigh (Bryan) Pigg, Aaron (Jenna) Black, Broc Cornwell, Tara (Andy) Clutter, Talia (Kris) Daulton, & Kaelab Pribble, great grandchildren, Bryson, Alexis, Drake, Rylan Pigg, Briggs Michael Black, Griffin, & Faye Daulton, her sister, Colletta Johnson, her brother-in-law, Dominic (Beverly) Bildilli, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Maryhelen was a prominent figure in Georgetown where she belonged to many associations including Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron, Daughters of the American Revolution where she was previous chaplain, & the Red Hat Society. She served the public by volunteering for the CRIS Senior Services, Georgetown Cemetery Board, Georgetown Historical Society, the Vermilion County War Museum, and the Holiday Gathering which she began some years ago. She enjoyed genealogy and was part of the Golden Wedding Anniversary at the Georgetown Fair. Maryhelen worked as a tutor for DACC, as a reporter for the Commercial News for some time, and also worked at the Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District. She and her husband, Charlie, owned and operated the C.S.Q. and later the Grapevine for many years. She belonged to the Georgetown Friends Meeting and was the choir director and the organist. Because of her love of music, she taught piano to many area students for many years. Her family meant the most to her and she was the "Best Mom, Mamaw, Grandma & Nana". She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Maryhelen's life will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Georgetown Friends Meeting, 301 S. Main St, Georgetown, IL, with Pastor John Myers officiating. Visitation will be held 10am to 12pm prior to the service at the Church on Wednesday. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
