Marybelle Cunningham

DANVILLE- Marybelle Cunningham, 86, of Danville passed away at 3:21am on Friday, May 02, 2008 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on August 8, 1921, in Armstrong, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Elva Fisher Roberts. Both deceased. On June 22, 1940, Marybelle married Virgil Toss Cunningham in Danville. He preceded her in death in 1991. Survivors include her four children: Kay Cunningham of Indianapolis, IN, Glen (Trudy) Cunningham of Hilton Head, S.C. Doris (Gary) Resh of Danville, and Gayle (Craig) Golden of Danville. Also surviving are her three grandchildren: Amy (David) Bear of Indianapolis, IN, Jodi Golden of Indianapolis, IN, and Sara Golden of Cincinnati, Ohio. A brother, two sisters, and her dog, BiBi, preceded Marybelle in death. Marybelle was a graduate of Bismarck High school, and a long time member of the Second Church of Christ in Danville. She enjoyed baking, sewing, being with family and especially her grandchildren.
