Ridge Farm, Ill. - MaryAnn McCoy, 75, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 10:46 a.m. CDT Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. She was born June 6, 1940 in New Jersey, the daughter of the late Carl and Bernadette (Carpenter) Johnson. MaryAnn married Bruce W. McCoy on December 24, 1957 in Vermilion County, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1998. Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Sam) Hawn of Dana, Indiana; two grandsons, Brandon Thomann of Newport, Indiana and Dustin Dailey of Dana, Indiana; three great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; two sisters, Karla Jacobsen and Darlene Edwards both of Danville, Illinois; two brothers, Carl Lee (Vickie) Johnson and Mark T. (Sylvia) Johnson both of Georgetown, Illinois; sister-in-law, Ruth Johnson of Vermilion Grove, Illinois; special friend, Virginia Howard of Olivet, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. MaryAnn was preceded in death by her son, Bruce "Randy" McCoy; brother, William "Hughie" Johnson; two nephews, Terry L. and Jay D. Johnson, and her special dog, Scotty. MaryAnn retired from CCL in Danville, Illinois after 35 years. She loved working on puzzles, gardening, raising flowers, spending time outdoors, coloring and watching Sunday morning church on T.V.
