Mary Virginia Bugle

Mary Virginia Bugle, 89, of Covington, IN, passed away on May 9, 2016 at the Waters of Covington. She was born on February 2, 1927 in Charleston, IL, the daughter of Oscar Leroy and Fara F. (Endsley) Conley. She married Harold John Bugle in Sullivan, IL on July 2, 1954 and he preceded her in death in 2006. Mary will be deeply missed by her children; Jack Bugle of State Line, IN and David (Tammy) Bugle of Covington, IN, grandchildren; Jason, Joseph and Fara Abernathy, Sierra and Jacob Bugle, Kim (Matt) Drollinger, Jonathon (Amanda) Newkirk and Josh Newkirk, four great grandchildren, son-in-law, Mark Abernathy, several nieces and nephews along with special friends, Sherri (Lonnie) Slider. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Susie Abernathy and four siblings; Dean Conley, Betty Drake, Jim Conley and David Conley. Mary was a graduate of Charleston High School and later moved to Covington, IN in 1973. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting older pieces of furniture to refinish. Mary enjoyed visiting with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She had a very gentle and caring heart for everyone. A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM EST at Maranatha Baptist Church in Covington with Pastor Kenneth Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington, IN. Memorials may be made in her name to the Maranatha Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society. Sunset's Covington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
