Mary Sue Pearson

Terre Haute, Ind. - Mary Sue Pearson, 79, a resident of Signature Healthcare of Terre Haute and formerly of Danville, Illinois and Cayuga, Indiana passed away at 12:23 p.m. EST Sunday, February 24, 2019.

She was born January 26, 1940 in Cayuga, Indiana, the daughter of the late Doc Wallace and Waunetta L. (White) Pearson.

Survivors include: two daughters, Brigit (John) Steinbrenner of Hillsdale, Indiana and Kristin Ebert of Janesville, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Leza Booth; one brother: David Pearson; and a sister: Nora Dowers.

She was a 1958 graduate of Cayuga High School. Mary was an avid reader and loved music and dancing.

Per Mary's request cremation was accorded. A private service and burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100 Indianapolis, Indiana 46209. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
