Mary Sayon

Mary Sayon, 82, of Westville, passed away at 10:55pm Sunday April 22, 2012 at the Hawthorne Inn in Danville. She was born April 11, 1930 in Westville, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine {Oros} Lesko. She was united in marriage to Carl Sayon on September 24, 1966 in Westville. He will miss her dearly along with her daughters, Cathy Sayon of Chicago & Karen Sayon of Orland Park, as well as, her brother, Dr. Frank (Dorothy) LesKo of Champaign. Mary was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Emma Alexis & Anna Lesko; and two brothers, Joseph & Anthony Lesko. Mary had worked for Modern Machine Shop in Danville and later worked for Westville Gas and Water Dept. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville, as well as, a member of the Alter and Rosary Society. Mary enjoyed baking and cooking. She would volunteer her time to any organization. Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 26, 2012, at St. Mary's Church in Westville with Father Timothy Sauppe officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel in Westville. A Rosary will begin at 4:00 pm at the start of visitation. She will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, east of Westville. Memorial contributions can be given to The Key Club in Danville or the Donor's choice.
