Mary Miller

Mary E. (Liz) Miller, 73, of Bismarck, passed away at 5:58 pm Tuesday July 12, 2016. Mary was born in Midway, Kentucky on October 6, 1942 the daughter of Albert Woodrum and Margaret (Penn) Woodrum. In 1961 she married the love of her life Donald C. Miller and they spent the next 47 years of their lives together, he precedes her in death. Mary is survived by her two sons, Todd (Brenda) Miller of Danville, Kent (Dana) Miller of Marshall; one daughter, Carla (Jason Spickard) Wersich of Georgetown; one brother, Albert(Melba) Woodrum Jr.; and twelve grandchildren, Jacob Miller, Lucas Miller, CJ Miller, Aaron Lewellyn, Chris Lewellyn, Morgan Miller, Colan Miller, Nolan Miller, Libby Wersich, Katie Wersich, Mason Wersich, Aiden Spickard. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother James (Betty) Woodrum. Mary was a loving person, spending many years working at Hawthorne Inn of Danville where she was able to help individuals in need and in her spare time loved being with her grandchildren. She was a member of Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church of Danville, IL. Mary enjoyed winters in Florida where she and Don did a lot of fishing and gambling. She will be deeply missed by everyone she came in contact with. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11Am on Saturday July 16, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be pastor James Blue. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park following the service.
