Cayuga, Ind. - Mary Martha Woods, 85, formerly of Cayuga and a resident of North Logan Health Care passed away at 2:10 a.m. CDT Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at North Logan Health Care. She was born December 23, 1930 in Lilbourn, Missouri, the daughter of the late Dora Lola Thomas and Jay William Barrett. She married James David Woods on September 13, 1947 in Vermilion Grove, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2015. Survivors include her children: David Woods of Bismarck, Arkansas; Michellee (Dan Thompson) Woods and Stephen Woods both of Cayuga, Indiana, and Shelley (David) Pabst of St. Paul Minnesota; five grandchildren, Michah; Kara; Caine; Cheryle and Storm; several great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Mary enjoyed fishing, hunting and visiting with Jehovah's Witnesses. Cremation was accorded. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. EDT until Noon EDT Friday, October 21, 2016 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. There will be no services.
