Mary M Ringer

Mary M. Ringer 95 of Jefferson, Georgia formally of Georgetown passed away at 11:30 am Wednesday October 24, 2018 at The Bentley Assisted living in Jefferson, Ga, she was born on October 20, 1923 the daughter of Margaret Curran. She was united in marriage to William E. Ringer on July 6, 1947,he preceded her on May 28, 1987. Those who will miss her are her three daughters; Susie (Terry) Wiggington of Owensboro, Ky, Patricia (Jerry) Grant of Jefferson,Ga, Cheryl Collins of New Bern, NC, also nine grandchildren; Wendy (Vladi) Kozel, Mark (Pam) Liggett, Jennifer (Jeremy) Hellard, Hiedi (Jeremy) Hershberger, Cory (Heather) Grant, Eric (Ashley) Collins, Jesse (Katelyn)Collins and Brad (Michelle) Collins, Brent Collins, also 25 great-grandchildren. Mary was well known as the cook for the Georgetown School District for 22 years. She was a member of the Georgetown First Church of Christ and was very active with her Church family. Mary enjoyed many hours of making ceramics and crocheting many items for her family. She was always happy and loved to sing, also playing Bunco with her club. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 1:00pm Monday October,29,2018 at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown with Phil Miller officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
