Mary M Rhoton

Mary M. Rhoton, 85, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 4:55pm, Tuesday, December 23, 2015, at Clinton Gardens of Clinton, Indiana, with her family by her side. She was born on November 16, 1930, in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of William C. and Edna B. Butz. On December 28, 1954, Mary was united in marriage to James D. Rhoton in Springfield, IL, until his passing on September 21, 2014. Mary was a loving mother & grandmother and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Donna Kearns of Olivet & Cheryl Evans of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Terra Holler & Tony Dompe; her great grandchildren, Jaxen Matthew, Madyx James, Sabrina, Zach, Colton, Cody, Cameron, Caitlyn, Tyler, Matthew, & Ally. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. Mary was known for her out-going and humorous personality. She loved her grandchildren & great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. A celebration of Mary's life will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to her service on Tuesday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Danville Cancer Center.
