Mary Lynn True

Mary Lynn True, 72, of Visalia, California and formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at her home in Visalia, California.

She was born January 13, 1952, in Danville, Illinois, daughter of the late Paul Wayne Knight and Betty Lou Cage Knight Ward

She married Donald True in Danville, Illinois on December 7, 2001, and he survives.

Other survivors include her son, David (Leah) Stanton of Wisconsin; her daughter, Betsy (Dan) Williamson of Colorado; her grandchildren, Joshua Stanton, Annabelle Williamson and Evelyn Williamson; her siblings: Lawrence (Carol) Lucas, Patty (Jeff) Edwards, Paula Jo Stoaks, Paul Wayne Knight Jr and Medeana Lynn Smith.

She was preceded in death by one brother, John Wayne Knight.

Mary worked in the X-Ray department of Danvilles Lakeview Hospital for 15 years before moving away from the area. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, working in her yard, and spending time with her friends and family.

A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held at 1PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion Street Danville, Illinois. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12PM-1PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the funeral home.
