Westville- Mary Louise Loudeau, 81, of Westville passed away at 11:00 PM on Sunday August 1, 2010 at Colonial Manor in Danville. She was born on July 14, 1929 in Westville to James Henry and Matilda Clara Felgenhaur Pepping. She married Louis Joe Lourdeau in Westville on August 26, 1946. Surviving are 3 sons Larry J. (Roxanne) Lourdeau of Westville, Thomas L. Lourdeau, also of Westville, and David A. (Brenda) Lourdeau of Spokane, WA; daughter Amy L. (Owen) Barney of Westville; sister Norma Snider of Georgetown; sister-in-law Viola Pepping of Westville; 8 grandchildren Larry (Lisa) Barney and Richie Woods, Nikki (Shane) Boyer, Becky and Brandi Lourdeau, Kyle, Troy (Jennifer), and Chelsea Lourdeau and their mother Tammy; 5 great-grandchildren Shannon and Brandi Woods, Jerrid Barney, Paige McNeal and Wyatt Boyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Harry, Louis, and Donald, sisters Clara, Mildred, and Evelyn, and grandchildren Amber Lourdeau, Tammy (Barney) Woods and Tyler Barney. Marys greatest love in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She also found great joy in having holiday parties and cookouts. An open door, a warm smile and a slice of Sunday pie could always be found in her home. Mary also made many friends while working outside her home in younger years at General Electric and eventually retiring from the V.A. as a Certified Nurses Aide. A service to celebrate Marys life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home in Danville. Entombment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
