Cayuga, Ind. -- Mary Louise Norman, 76, of Cayuga, passed away at 10:35 p.m. EDT Monday, April 13, 2009 at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana. Mary was born March 6, 1933 in Vermillion County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Albert and Sylvia Trosper Holycross. Survivors include her children: Rick(Sharon Alexander)Norman of Westville, Illinois; Vicky(Gerald)Uplinger of Cayuga, Indiana and Randy Norman of Rockville, Indiana; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one brother, Harold(Rosalie)Holycross of Eugene, Indiana. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie McLain and Norma Jean Baird; one brother, Ralph Holycross and one half brother, Earl Trosper. Mary attended the Cayuga Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed going to rummage sales and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Friday, April 17, 2009 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Don Morgan; Burial: Hughes Cemetery in rural Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the funeral home.
