Mary Loucinda "Gammie" Williams

Kingman, Ind. -- Mary Loucinda "Gammie" Williams, 91, of Kingman, passed from this life at 10:15 p.m. EDT Monday, August 15, 2011 at The Waters of Covington. Gammie leaves behind her son-in-law: Ron Byerly, seven grandchildren: Roni Jane(John)Replogle, Cindi(Jerry)Burton, Clayton(Bobbie Sue)Byerly, Lola Bruner(Bob), Shelley Williams(Tom), Patty Williams(David) and Rockey Williams(Sheila), plus nineteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Miriam Berdcinski and Edith Davis, both of Illinois and several nieces and nephews plus a host of other family and friends. Gammie was preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Katherine Hardin Rhodes; her husband, Roscoe Williams; her daughter, Louetta "Tootie" Byerly; her sons, Roger Williams and Lonnie David Williams; grandson, David; great grandchildren, Lonnie and Brittany; and great great granddaughter, Caroline. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Louise Cooper. Mary Lou attended the Kingman Community Church until her health failed. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday, August 19, 2011 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. There will be no services. Cremation following visitation will be accorded with burial of cremains to be held at a later date.
