Mary Lou Klein

DANVILLE- Mary Lou Klein, 82, of Danville, formerly of Rankin, IL, passed away at 3:48pm on Saturday, March 8, 2007 at Provena USMC in Danville. She was born in Urbana, Illinois on July 8, 1925, the daughter of Mike and Fern Lowry Maier. Both deceased. Mary Married Lawrence Klein on August 20, 1947 in Thomasboro, IL. He preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by her son Mike (Cyndie) Klein of Danville, three grandchildren: Angie (Brian) Koziczkowski of Chicago, Il, Amy Klein of Danville, Amanda Klein of Danville, and a great-granddaughter; Grace Koziczkowski. Her sister; Lois Kaler precedes Mary in death. Mary spent nearly fifty years in Rankin, working on the family farm. She was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville. She enjoyed playing cards with her many friends, and listening to the music of Dean Martin. She was a Chicago Cubs and Illini fan, and cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
