Mary Lou High, 71, of Fulton, KY, formerly of Georgetown, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 20111 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born on May 14, 1940, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Fred and Ida Martha (Gritton) Branham. She married James E. High on June 7, 1959. He survives. Other survivors include her three daughters, Sherrie (Randy) Johnson of Dana, IN, Tina Grimes of Ridge Farm, IL, and Kelly (Terry) Dill of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Brittani A. Blakeney, Hunter S. Blakeney, Jeremy J. Staub, Joshua Allan Dill, Brodie Lynn Dill, Breanna Marie Dill, Bailie Leeann Dill, James Lee Grimes, Chance Michael Grimes, and Jesse Grimes; her great grandchildren, Taylor A. and Hailie E. Staub; her sister, Darlene (Roger) Boen of Danville; her brothers, Bill Branham & William (Sue) Branham, both of Danville; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Allan High, sister, Patricia Schaffer, brother, Richard Branham, and a nephew William "Billy" Butcher. Mary Lou worked at ATI for fifteen years. She enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and loved going to auctions. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her special little dog Molly. A celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Sunset's Houghton Leasure Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday August 5, 2011 at the funeral home. Condolences may be made to the family at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
