Henning Mary Lee Phillips, 72, of Henning, IL passed away at 4:58 PM at Carle Foundation Hospital on December 12, 2019.

Mary was born on March 5, 1947 the daughter of Robert Lee and Rose Ilene (Allison) Phillips in Danville, IL.

Mary is survived by one brother, David (Connie) Phillips of Danville, IL, four sisters, Diana Jones of Paxton, IL, Cathy Deck of Potomac, IL, Vickie (Ed) Huston of Rossville, IL and Penny (Santos) Guajardo of Danville, IL, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as her cousins, Lis and Ethel and best friends, Sandy and Sandy.

Mary is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, one brother, Duane Phillips.

Mary was a member of the Elderly Club, worked at Continental Filling for over 16 years and retired from Bell Helmet Manufacturing where she worked for over 35 years. In her free time she enjoyed playing cards and games, watching movies, attending rummage sales and flea markets and simply being around family. Mary was an avid Elvis Presley fan and has a large collection of Elvis memorabilia.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834, with Dan Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Gundy Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 9:00 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
