Mary L. Steward

Mary L. Steward, 48, of Penfield passed away at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday December 11, 2007 at her home. She was born on October 28, 1959 in Phoenix, AZ the daughter of Raymond L. and Irene A. Melecosky Steward. Survivors include: her mother, Irene Steward of Georgetown, five brothers, Mike (Toni) Steward of Burkesville, KY, Steve (Jan) Steward of Williamsport, IN, Mark (Kristy) Steward of Ft. Atkinson, WI, and John, Gene, Ray Steward all of Westville; nieces and nephews, Michael A. Steward of Burkesville, KY, Nick and Kendra Steward, Bailey and Danika Steward, Tyler and Desiree Steward, Jenifer (Brian) Baccon, and Payton and Spenser Steward; great nieces, Morgan and Marissa Duprey. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Steward. Mary was a graduate of Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School and then attended DACC. She worked at Rantoul Products for fourteen years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved to cook for her family and friends. Mary loved life and those in her life loved her. The biggest love in life was her nieces and nephews. A celebration of Marys life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday December 15, 2007. A visitation will be held from 9-12 a.m. Saturday before the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Vermilion County Humane Society.
