Mary L. Howard

Mary L. Howard, 82, of Danville, passed away at 1:15pm, Friday, March 16, 2018, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born on August 17, 1935, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Clinton and Mae {McCoy} Stevens. Mary worked as an LPN for Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, as well as a school nurse & teacher at Danville Christian Home Academy. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and being outdoors. She was also an avid reader and loved visiting with her friends at McDonalds. Mary loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by: her sons, Glenn (Vicki) White of Danville & Tim (Cindy) White of Ridge Farm; her brother, Lester (Joyce) Stevens of Danville; her grandchildren, Tim White II, Alicia (James Miller) Pearson, Clinton White, Page White, Charles (Amber) White, Stephanie (Steve Songer) Massie, Joshua Halls, & Luke Halls; and her great grandchildren, Reaghan Morgan, Amelia Miller, Jamiee Miller, Dominicque Massie, Tiffany Massie, & Kara White. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her son, Lester; her sister, Grace Peelman; and her brother, Alfred Adams. Graveside Service will be 1:00pm, Friday, March 23, 2018, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola, with Pastor James Blue officiating.
