Mary Louise Kesner, 79, of Danville, passed away at 9:35a.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 2, 1929 in Kingman, Indiana, the daughter of Seward Lewis and Grace Lillian (McIntosh) Orahood. Mary married Lyle Gilbert Kesner on August 1, 1948 in Tangier, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2003. One daughter, Judith Ann (Louis) Resha of Danville, two grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Resha and Zachary Ryan Resha, both of Danville, and one nephew, Robert (Donna) Millikan of Tangier, IN survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Stanley Dean Orahood, and one sister, Genevieve Millikan. Mary was a graduate of Tangier High School. She worked at Woodbury Book Store as a bookkeeper. Mary was a member of the Second Church of Christ. She was very active in her church, belonging to the Christian Fellowship Sunday School Class and enjoyed making cards for the churchs card ministry. A celebration of life for Mary Louise Kesner will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., with Drew Mentzer officiating. Burial will be Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4-8p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the funeral home.
