Mary Jane Mccool

Mary Jane McCool, 81, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 4:30am, Friday, April 8, 2011, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village, Chrisman. She was born on March 11, 1930, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of Robert and Erschel {Stark} Neild. She was united in marriage to Claude McCool on December 6, 1948, in Terre Haute, IN. He will miss her very much. Other survivors include: her sons, Steve McCool & Spencer (Tammy) McCool, both of Ridge Farm; her daughter, Sherry (Howard) Kruzan of Ridge Farm; her thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; her brothers, Leo (Jean) Neild of Dana, IN, & Bill (Janet) Neild of Evansville, WI; and her sisters, Libby (Leroy) Vandevender of Hutsonville, IL, & Susie (Larry) Collom of Georgetown. Five brothers, Donnie, Joe, Leslie, Russ, & Marlin Neild, and two sisters, Elsie Rumple & Elma Hornbeck, preceded her in death. Mary Jane was a member of the Ridge Farm Church of the Nazarene, as well as, the Ridge Farm Historical Society. She enjoyed tending her garden, ceramics, and going camping. Above all else, Mary Jane loved her family very much. A Celebration of Mary Janes life will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Chrisman Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Chris Hughes officiating. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm.
