Mary Jane Gaskill

Mary Jane Gaskill, 89, of Fairmount, passed away at Presence United Medical Center on August 23, 2014 with her family by her side. Mary was born the daughter of Alice Lang on March 13th 1925 in Veedersburg, IN. She married Albert Clawson in 1944 he preceded her in death. She later married Herman Gaskill he also preceded her. Surviving Mary is one daughter; Carroll (Jerry) Puckett of Fairmount, one step daughter; Nancy (Lee) Hetrich of Williams Port, IN, five grand children; Michelle (Terry) McDaniel of Sidell, Mark Murphy of Danville, Crystal Street of Oakwood, Robert Murphy of Fairmount, and EJ (Robin) Brock of Fairmount, twelve great grand children and two great great grand children, one sister-in-law Sarah Lang of Kingman, IN, three step grand children; Rob (Polly) Puckett of Rittman, OH, Dawn (Darren) Richards of Fairmount, and Brad Puckett of Catlin, also one special cousin; Gene Craig of Veedersburg, IN. Mary was also preceded in death by her mom, two brothers; Jack and Glenn Lang. Mary enjoyed gardening and mushrooming, she loved her little dog Twinkles but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 pm. A Celebration of Marys life will follow at 2:00pm on Wednesday August 27, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville, IL.
