Mary J. Falconio, 87, of Westville, passed away at 4:10am, Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born on November 3, 1929, in Westville, IL, the daughter of Serafino and Victoria {Geninatti} Maritano, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Henry L. Falconio Jr on February 18, 1950, at St. Mary's in Westville. He will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by: her sons, Richard Falconio, Robert Falconio, & John Falconio, all of Westville; her daughters, Linda (Joseph Sanford) Falconio M.D. of Oceanside, CA, Diane (Joe) Shapuras of Westville, Patricia (David) Leader of Westville, Marcia (Jack) Good Sr of Indianapolis, IN, and Ann (Danny) Rudd of Westville; her daughter-in-law, Anastasia Falconio of Georgia; her sister-in-law, Mary Alice Falconio of Danville; her grandchildren, Jason Shapuras, Jack Good Jr, Brian Shapuras, Mandi (Tom) Fahey, Megan (Jake) Zedrick, Sara (Jeremy) Humphrey, Brittany Falconio, Staci Rudd, Eric Falconio, Bradley Falconio, Stefani (Bryan Concannon) Rudd, Aubrey Falconio, Miranda Falconio, & Antonella Falconio; her great grandchildren, Jacob Fahey, Joe Fahey, Camille Fahey, & Brendan Humphrey; and many special nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her son, Paul; her daughter-in-law, Brenda; and her brother, Delfino. Mary graduated from Westville High School in 1947 as the Valedictorian of her class. She later attended business school. Mary & Henry started Falconio TV Sales and Service in 1952. Later, they also started SeeMore Cable TV in 1965. They enjoyed doing business in Westville until their retirement in 1982. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville and volunteered with Faith-In-Action. Mary was an "encyclopedia" of knowledge and remembered everything and everyone. She was lovingly known to all as Mom' & Grandma' and was well-known for her homemade Pizzelles, Caramels, & Popcorn Balls. She always had a full house and no one left there hungry. She enjoyed Facebook and making cards for every occasion. Mary was truly blessed with a loving family and friends and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Monday, May 22, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N. State St. Westville, IL, with Father Timothy Saupp officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St, Westville, IL. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
