Mary Gribler

Mary Jayne Gribler, 84, of Danville passed away on July 3, 2008 at North Logan Health Care. Mary was born April 22, 1924 in Danville daughter of Forrest and Gertrude Fitzgerald Holmes. Survivors include numerous friends from St. Pauls Church, Valleyview apartments, Toastmasters, and throughout Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary was a graduate of Danville High School as well as the U of I school of Engineering. She had worked as an electrical engineer for 28 years until retiring. Mary was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville for a number of years, and also was a Distinguished Toastmaster of the Uncle Joe Cannon & Vermilion Toastmasters. She was the founder of the Rantoul Chapter of Toastmasters. Mary Jayne had a passion for being an innovator and encourager throughout her life. Per Marys wishes she will be cremated and a Celebration of Marys Life will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at St. Pauls Catholic Church.
