Mary F. Stark, 80, of Danville, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Heritage Health in Hoopeston. She was born on April 26, 1942, in West Moreland, TN. The daughter of Bubbie and Bessie (Graves) Calvert. Mary was united in marriage to William Stark on May 5, 2007. He will deeply miss her.
She will be missed by her children, Jerry (Debbie) Sandefur of Hoopeston, Cathy (Dwayne) High of Catlin, Vicki (Todd) Watson of Oakwood, and Dean (Kellie) Sandefur of Lynchburg, TN; grandchildren, Tony (Shay) Sandefur, Tim Hall, Tiffini Englert, Tonya Field, Crystal Tumbleweed, Sara Grace Sandefur, Brenen Womack, Anthony (Ashley) High, Nicholas (Brittney) High, Kayla Reed, and Cody Watson; also survived by 22 great grandchildren; siblings, Ruth (Paul) Mackiewicz, Judy Akins and Addie Bell Schroeder. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Haislip; sisters, Mae Boren, Jewel Watson; brothers, Leo, Cleo and Leslie Calvert.
Mary enjoyed traveling all across the United States, gardening around her house and sharing love of real state with her husband. She cherished the time spent with her family.
A celebration of Marys life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Sunset Houghton Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown, IL, 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm, Illinois.
