Mary Ellen Yarusinsky

Mary Ellen Yarusinsky, 89, of Danville, died at 4:35 pm on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Provena USMC in Danville. She was born August 13, 1917 in Danville the daughter of Louis and Mable (Bennett) Walter. She married John Jack Yarusinsky in 1951 in Danville. He preceded her in death in April of 1980. She is survived by two sisters: Helen Mingee, Betty M. Smith; two nephews: Wayne (Marilyn) Mingee, John Bouslog; four nieces: Connie Ann (Jerry) Armstrong, Sue Ellen (Don) Tate, Kendra (Brian) Gramlich, Glenda (Frank) Gerulski; four sisters in law: Myra Jones, Annie (Jim) Norris, Francey (Dale) Dobbles, Evelyn Hanson; a special cousin: Joyce (Carlyle) Alexander; a special friend: Marlene (Bob) Wilson and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Willetta Mae Jones and Bernice Bouslog. Mary Ellen graduated from Danville High School in 1936. She was a member of Danville United Church of Christ. She worked for Dr. Glidden Baldwin as his secretary for 27 years until her retirement. Her nieces and nephews were her life. She loved spending time with them. She was a kind and loving friend to many. She spent her whole life helping others.
