Mary Elizabeth Carrell

Mary Elizabeth Carrell 69, of Westville, passed away at 1:48 p.m. Saturday January 3, 2009 at her home. She was born February 11, 1939 in Westfield, IL, the daughter of Jesse Beadle Robinson and Mabel Mae Willison. Those who will miss her are two daughters; Pamela (Kenny) Nichols of Chrisman, Marcy Fegett of Georgetown and her son Gary Carrell of Danville, Her Mother; Mabel Robinson of Danville, two brothers; Bill (Charlotte) Robinson of Lake City, FL, Ronald (Pam) Robinson of Martinsville, IL, two sisters; Ethel (Charlie) Roberts of Mattoon, Il, Vickie (Allen) Benefield of Danville, also eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, one daughter Mary Evelyn and an infant son. Mary had worked as a Realtor associate for Gutteridge Real Estate and worked at the V.A. Hospital in Danville for several years. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 210 of Danville. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her children and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life graveside service for Mary Carrell will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday January 7, 2009 at Maple Hills cemetery near Westfield, IL. Officiating will be Rev. James Blue. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday January 6, 2009 at Sunsets Urbas Chapel of Westville, IL, 414 S.
