Mary Delahay

Mary Louise Delahay, 80, of Danville, died at 12:56 PM on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at her home. She was born February 28, 1926 in Danville, IL the daughter of Fred and Louise (King) Misch. She married Fred Delahay on December 28, 1954 at St. Pauls Church in Danville. He preceded her in death. Mary is survived by one son: Kent Delahay of Portland, Oregon; and by the caregivers from Songer Home Care that loved her like a mother. She was preceded by her parents. Mary graduated from Danville High School where she performed in many theatrical performances with Dick and Jerry Van Dyke. She attended and graduated from St. Marys of Notre Dame College. Mary worked for Warner Brothers Studio while living in California. She loved riding horses with her husband, enjoyed sailing, liked to paint and shop. She loved family picnics. Mary was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity Episcopal.
