Danville " Mary Beth Head Kinate, 64, of 21 Lake Shore Ct., Danville, died at 8:01 a.m. Sunday morning at her home. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville with Father Greg Nelson officiating. Lunch will be served for the Kinate family and friends at the Motsett Center in Danville following the service. Graveside services will be held later in the afternoon at the Forrest Cemetery in Forrest, IL. Sunset Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements. There will be a private family visitation and prayer service. Memorials may be made to St. Pauls Catholic Church, Schlarman High School Foundation or the American Cancer Society. Mary Beth was born May 3, 1941 in Forrest, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ollie Head and married Clifford Kinate on Sept. 5, 1964 in Fairbury, Ill. Survivors include her loving husband, Cliff, and her daughter, Sarah Beth, both of Danville; her sister, LaVonne Huisman of Forrest; and her brother, J.R. (Donna) Head of Fairbury. Mary Beth worked at General Motors in Labor Relations and Personnel for 21 years. Upon her retirement, she worked for the Danville School District 118 at North Ridge and South View Middle Schools. She found working with children very rewarding and satisfying. Mary Beth was a 1959 graduate of Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School and received an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from DACC. She enjoyed volunteering and was an avid hostess and gardener. She thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends expressing this through her many letters and cards.
