Mary Ann Farrell

Mary Ann Farrell, 98, of Westville, passed away at 1:45pm, Monday, January 12, 2015, at Hawthorne Inn, Danville. She was born the daughter of Michael and Mary {Russian} Sigulinsky in Westville on January 22, 1916. She was united in marriage to James Farrell until his passing in 2008. Mary is survived by: her nieces & nephews, Jack Wallner of Richland, MI, Bob Cowles of Yuba City, CA, Sandra Meyers of Littleton, CO, Patricia Cowles of Fallston, MD, Cheryl Black of Danville, IL, William Charles Oswald of Manhattan Beach, CA, Ted Pasierb of Danville, IL, Michael Pasierb of Westville, & Marilyn McCalister. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her four sisters; her nieces, Judith Cowles & Terra Dillon; and her great niece, Shelly Henry. Mary Ann worked for General Electric in Danville until she retired. She enjoyed bowling, playing the piano, cooking & canning, and feeding the squirrels. She was known by her area neighborhood children to help gather leaves for their school projects. She will be missed by those who loved her. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, January 16, 2015, at Sandusky Cemetery. Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, assisted her family with arrangements.
