Mary Alice had a gift of helps including managing the office of their businesses, Mr. Fixit and John Hadley Construction, which her husband started many years ago. She also had a gift of hospitality and always had an open-door to family and friends where she would prepare delicious meals and have a comfortable and warm home. Especially after retirement, but throughout their married life Mary Alice and John enjoyed spending time traveling 49 states, the New England Islands and in Europe, while they were stationed in the Army. Many memories were had in their conversion van with adventures on the beach, with grandkids and traveling to see new sites just because. She had several collections including salt and pepper shakers and bears from all 50 states and beyond. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and loved to attend their sporting events and recitals. Even up to her final days, she had a steadfast spirit holding fast to the hope of her salvation that she would be united with her Lord and He would give her a healed mind and no longer experience suffering. You make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
