Mary Agnes Stack

Mary Agnes Stack, 62, of Danville, passed away on August 19, 2014 at Gardenview Manor in Danville after a long illness. She was born on January 10, 1952 in Danville, the daughter of Donald and Rita (Kramer) Stack. Mary will be deeply missed by six brothers, Joseph (Shirley) Stack of Danville, IL, Dennis (Patti) Stack of Mahomet, IL, John (Judy) Stack of Centralia, IL, Jerome Stack of Chebanse, IL, Stanley (Sharon) Stack of Belleville, IL and Thomas (Bridget) Stack of Mansfield, TX, two sisters, Margaret Bedard of Highland, IL, Theresa Oldham of Salem, IL and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Mark Stack (1982), two sisters, Donna Stack (1998) and Barbara Boyd (2014) and one brother-in-law, Ed Oldham (2013). Mary was born in Danville and lived there until the age of 12 then her family moved to Centralia, IL where she worked for Kaskaskia workshop. She later moved to Champaign where she worked for the workshop of Champaign and eventually made her way back to Danville where she worked at Danville WorkSource. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a visitation from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church in Centralia, IL with Fr. Dale Maxfield officiating. Visitation in Danville will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with a Rosary service starting at 4:30 PM. Entombment will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Centralia, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Marys name to American Cancer Society/Relay for Life.
