Marvin Glen Lloyd, Jr.

Plainfield, Ind. - Marvin Glen Lloyd, Jr., 73, of Plainfield, passed away at 10:55 a.m. EST Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his residence.

He was born September 20, 1948 in Danville, Illinois the son of the late Marvin Glen and Florence L. (Peterson) Lloyd.

Glen married Joanne E. Graham on October 1, 1983 in Las Vega, Nevada. She survives.

Other survivors include his children: Brian (Ashley Hartung) Lloyd of Stilesville, Indiana; Jamie (Keith) Cochrun and Kimberly Dickert both of Plainfield, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Logan, Mackenzie, Dylan, Caleb, Bella, Khloe and Kingston.

Glen worked as a Special Agent for the I.R.S. retiring after 30 years of service. He then worked for the Indiana Gaming Commission for 7 years before retiring. Glen attended the Plainfield Christian Church and was a member of the Cayuga Christian Church. A 1966 graduate of North Vermillion High School, Glen attended Purdue University and later transferred to Northwestern University receiving his Bachelor's degree. He was a member of the Perrysville Unity Lodge #344 F&AM in Perrysville, Indiana. Glen enjoyed golfing, going on cruises, spending winters in Florida, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Per Glen's wishes cremation was accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date with inurnment of cremains at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
